Girls Tennis Schedule 2022 and important info!
Beginning and Preseason dates
July 26-July 29: Conditioning and weightlifting: 3 pm HHS courts--highly recommended.
August 1---Practices and tryouts begin: Attendance is MANDATORY

- Tryouts and your season begins. We meet at HHS courts at 3 pm and go until 5:00 pm. This will last for the rest of the season. Match day practices last until 6 pm. You are expected to be at each and every practice and match

Summer Tennis Opportunities
We are pleased this summer to announce that we will be working with Utah Tennis to offer our Summer Camps!!!
We offer twice a week, competitive team workouts. You can choose Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. These will meet at HHS from 7 am to 8:45 am! This program lasts from June 7 until the middle of July. Night matches will also be offered.

Dear parents, guardians and players
What a great week at tryouts! Everyone has worked so hard! Just reaching out to let you know what happens next. This email is just a reminder of what you signed prior to tryouts.
Monday, August 10, our workout schedule changes. The top 20 players will attend the 2:35 - 4:45 practice. That practice is daily, Monday- Friday. Those players who are not in the top twenty will begin practices at 4:45 - 5:30 and will only meet Monday and Friday of this week. Players will be made aware of which practice they will attend over group me.
Tuesday, August 11, we play West Jordan high School at home. They will have many players so most of the girls will get to play. We will have the top 20 show up at 2:45. They will play first. Spectators are limited to three per family and social distancing will be expected as will masks. Sorry, those who aren't wearing masks cannot watch. At 3:30 we will have the players who are in the lower 20 come to the courts. The same rules apply for players and spectators. Everyone will leave when their match is over. There will be no practice that day after the match.
Wednesday, August 12, we play Grantsville and Murray. We will only have the top 14 players attend this match. Herriman Girls need to report to the court at 11:30 am and expect to stay until 5:00. Because of the large number of players present at this event, those that want to watch will be asked to watch from their cars. No practice will follow the match
Thursday, August 13 is an away match. We will only be taking the top 14 players. Those players need to be outside of the gym at 2:00 pm. You'll need all your own water and equipment and mask. We will return approximately 6pm.
Friday, August 14 is a normal practice day. The top twenty will report at 2:45 and leave at 4:45. The bottom twenty will report at 4:45 and leave at 5:30.
Again if this whole thing doesn't work for you, we understand. This is how we have to do it to have the largest number of girls participate and stay COVID/Salt Lake Health Department/Jordan School district compliant. If any of us get sick, it could shut down our program.
