Herriman Tennis Team Summer Camps in the Afternoon

One Week Summer Camps

For those wishing a shorter time frame to improve their game, summer camps will be offered June 20-23 and July 25-29th from 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Herriman High School.

Sign up by emailing linda at linda.richmond@comcast.net at least one week prior to the camp. The camps will be limited at 20 participants.

This summer we will have the opportunity to play team tennis through Salt Lake County Rec. First practices will begin June 6th at 7:30. The cost is $75 dollars which includes practices, t-shirt and six summer matches against team outside of our league. Participating in this a great way to prepare for next season!

Informational meeting times

The time for the meeting on the May 17th is 5:00 p.m. in the Tech Atrium at Herriman High School.

Girls/Boys Informational Tennis Meeting, May 17

On May 17th, Herriman tennis will have a meeting for both boys and girls to provide information for summer camps and upcoming seasons.

The meeting, to be held in the Tech Atrium, on May 17th will discuss summer camps and team tennis opportunities for all Herriman Players.

In addition, prices will be given for upcoming sport packs, activity fees and uniform fees.

Players of all levels are welcome. Let's get ready for 2011-2012.

Herriman Tennis Team Qualifies for State Tourney

Congratulations to all Varsity players on Herriman's Tennis team. They have all qualified for this year's 5-A State Tennis tournament by placing fourth or higher in this past weekend's region tennis tournament.

Jesse Ross, Cole Pruden and Chase Driggs placed fourth in their divisions.

Wyatt Foulger and Tyler Ross placed third in their position

Scott Rindlisbacher and Jordan Quinn placed second in their position.

As a team, Herriman placed third in region results.

All varsity members will compete this weekend in the 5-A state tennis tournament.

Herriman Boys' Place 3rd in Region

As of the season ending region tournament,held Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6th, Herriman Boys' Tennis team finished 3rd in region behind first place Bingham and second place Riverton. With a match record of 43 wins and 17 losses, Herriman and Riverton were tied at the beginning of the region tournament, but Riverton ended up placing 2nd.

Congratulations, boys and good luck at State.
